This is the wild form of the Litter Bug (Porcellio incanus), a widespread hardy species that makes a perfect custodian for bioactive setups.
P. incanus is a very hardy species that is tolerant of broad ranging temperatures and humidity; with all colour varieties requiring the same care; making it an isopod suitable for beginners. It’s on the smaller scale in terms of size compared to other Porcellio species available; though is one of the easiest isopods to keep and breed. They will eat anything and therefore also make an excellent custodian for bioactive enclosures.
